Favorite Photos from London/Paris

June 26th - July 15th 2010

Melanie, my Mom, and my youngster sister Lillian all took a two and half week trip to London and Paris. We had 8 nights in each city, so plenty of time was available to visit the major attractions in each city. We rented an apartment in each city so that we would have a kitchen and washing machine in each location, this allowed us eat more cheaply and to travel with less luggage. We rode the subways around the cities, and took a ride on the Chunnel train between London and Paris.

It was a terrific trip. The weather was excellent. The famous places we visited were interesting, and we had a fun time traveling with each other. A lot of happy memories from this vacation. Here are my most favorite photographs from the trip. The only negative event was a pouring rainstorm on the day we left Paris - it delayed our flight by two hours, so we missed our connecting flight in Iceland and ended up spending an extra day getting home.
